Date

The earliest Hebrew manuscript was found at Qumran (11QPs). This would mean that the latest date for the psalm is ~AD 70. The style could be as early as the sixth century BC, but based on the language and phrases, deSilva places the book somewhere in the intertestamental period.”[1]

Canonicity

Codex Vaticanus and Codex Alexandrinus held that it was “outside the number” (i.e. non-canonical).[2]

Codex Sinaiticus held it to be canonical, referring to the “151 Psalms of David.”[3]
