Date

The earliest Hebrew manuscript was found at Qumran (11QPs). This would mean that the latest date for the psalm is ~AD 70. The style could be as early as the sixth century BC, but based on the language and phrases, deSilva places the book somewhere in the intertestamental period.”

Canonicity

Codex Vaticanus and Codex Alexandrinus held that it was “outside the number” (i.e. non-canonical).

Codex Sinaiticus held it to be canonical, referring to the “151 Psalms of David.”
